Packaging & Logistics

Watermelons are heavy and require heavy-duty impact cushioning. We implement rigid structural layouts to eliminate friction or pressure bruising:

  • Carton Packaging: 5-layer heavy corrugated cardboard master cartons with internal interlocking dividers. Standard net weight: 15.0 kg - 20.0 kg per carton box.
  • Bulk Bin Layout (Optional): Large, heavy-duty corrugated bulk bins or wooden pallet crates lined with foam sheets, packing approx. 400 kg - 500 kg of bulk watermelons per bin for maximum loading speed.
  • Loading Capacity: Approximately 18 - 20 Metric Tons per 40ft Reefer Container (RF) depending on chosen bin or carton combinations.
